I've learned that photography is not just taking a picture of something. Without an interesting angle the picture can turn out plain and boring. Over time, i've also begin to use different composition guidlines like it is second nature. This is because they make the picture significantly more interesting. Personally, i prefer to take pictures of nature at interesting angles and perspectives. I especially like to take pictures of plants and wild animals. The kaleidoscope project from last year inspired me the most. When parts of the picture lead of the page it is extremely interesting to reflect and play with my work.
